Our fully trained team takes pride in delivering high-quality work with a 100% health and safety record. From small garden walls to detached houses, barns, and churches, no job is too small.

We’re committed to maintaining clean and tidy sites, ensuring a smooth and professional experience every time.

At Alexander Pointing Ltd, we work together to achieve outstanding results, recognising excellence in every project we undertake.

Why Repointing is Essential

Over time, mortar joints in brick, stone, or block walls naturally wear down due to weather exposure. Wind, rain, frost, and dust can gradually erode the mortar, making your walls vulnerable to water penetration and structural damage. Once the mortar recedes, the bricks or stones can loosen, causing damp walls and even interior damage.

Repointing not only restores your walls but also acts as the building’s first line of defence. By addressing these issues early, we help prevent costly repairs in the future. Our expert team will ensure your home is well-protected for years to come. Check out our gallery of satisfied clients and completed projects to see the difference we can make.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had my gable repointed by the lads, Charlie and Scott, they was polite and always on time and they said it would take a week, they grafted hard and got it done in 3-4 days, will 100% be using again if needed in the near future and highly recommend to anyone who needs repointing or brickwork doing.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’d definitely recommend Alexander pointing. They arrive when they say they will, and both Ian (who quoted the job) and the two guys who carried it out were friendly and lovely. Everything was finished to a really high standard, they cleaned up well afterwards, and they were lovely with my neighbours too. They were also super flexible when I needed a urgent job which was very much appreciated.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had the front of our house pointed by Charlie and Scott, they did an amazing job from the initial quote from Iain, to the lads coming. The work was professional, tidy and efficient. Couldn't recommend them more!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I called up Alexander Pointing, needing a small job done. Iain was very responsive and had two chaps; Scott and Charlie took care of the pointing.

Firstly, they were very friendly and professional. They did a great job and took initiative in helping patch up some additional sections of the brickwork around the area. A small but well appreciated thing.

Overall, I'd definitely use this company again!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Highly recommend Alexander Pointing. Did a great job repointing our house and replacing a number of bricks that had blown. Provided a very professional service from the initial quote to completing the job. The team that carried out the job was very hard working, polite and made sure they did a good job. They also ensured they cleaned up extensively each day.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Massive thanks to Iain and the team. Recently moved in to my new house and the survey flagged quite a bit of pointing to be done. Contacted Iain and had a reply with a very reasonable quote back in no time. The lads did the job efficiently and to a really high standard. Extremely happy with the service and work - can’t recommend them enough!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Charlie and the team at Alexander Pointing repointed the front of my house. Their professionalism was outstanding: they followed through on everything they said they’d do and left the place spotless. My neighbours were so impressed watching them work that they’ve booked pointing work too, and I’d happily recommend Alexander Pointing to anyone.
